Hamilton, Montana Schools Completes Two-year Rollout of 3xLOGIC for Access Control Needs

Hamilton School District in Hamilton, Montana needed to upgrade security across five buildings. Initially exploring video surveillance, the district — constrained by budget and phased installation windows — required a flexible, scalable, browser-based access control system that could be rolled out over time.

The district deployed infinias PROFESSIONAL across the high school, middle, elementary, primary and district offices, fitting more than 225 doors (35+ exterior) and managing 339 staff, with an additional 50–60 doors added in summer 2016 to complete the two-year rollout. The solution eliminated costly re-keying, enabled scheduled exterior locks and card-controlled interior access, allowed role-based privileges for staff and emergency personnel, and provides real-time alerts for forced doors or voided credentials.
