Glasscock Texas ISD Installs Combination of Wireless and Wired Locks Managed by 3xLOGIC infinias Access Control

Glasscock County ISD, a small Texas district serving about 300 students across multiple buildings, needed a way to prevent unauthorized entry and secure classrooms and exterior access points. Superintendent Scott Bicknell engaged integrator VGI Technology after seeing a nearby district’s infinias system and asked for a solution that would lock down academic spaces during off-hours and control building entry.

VGI implemented a three-phase access control rollout using a mix of Allegion wireless and wired locks managed by the 3xLOGIC infinias platform. The project now covers 135 doors, provides buzz-in control of outer entrances, issues staff-only access cards with tailored user groups and schedules, allows remote management from mobile devices, and has proven low-maintenance and easy to operate.
