3xLOGIC and Sonitrol of Fort Lauderdale Partner on Security System Upgrade for Junior Achievement of South Florida

Junior Achievement of South Florida’s JA World is the largest Junior Achievement facility in the world, with more than 60,000 sq ft of learning and event space and hundreds of students on site each day. Concerned about student and staff safety, JA World needed to expand coverage beyond its aging analog camera system, adopt higher-resolution IP cameras, and consolidate all cameras under a single video management platform—while staying within a limited budget. Sonitrol of Fort Lauderdale and 3xLOGIC partnered to address that need.

The partners installed a 3xLOGIC VIGIL hybrid NVR and VIGIL Server software, allowing JA World to keep existing analog cameras while adding IP cameras over time and managing all feeds in one place. The upgraded system improved visibility across reception, loading docks, meeting rooms and student areas, sped incident video review through motion detection (cutting review time by roughly half), enabled receptionist-controlled access, and created a clear migration path and planned phase‑II enhancements for even better coverage.
