3xLOGIC and Sonitrol Lexington/Bates Security Improve Video Surveillance Capabilities for Kentucky School Boards Association

The Kentucky School Boards Association (KSBA), which represents school boards across the state, faced recurring security shortfalls: their aging analog cameras produced poor-quality footage that couldn’t identify license plates or perpetrators, leaving staff unable to make informed decisions after incidents. Longtime customer Sonitrol of Lexington/Bates Security worked with KSBA to pursue an upgrade.

Sonitrol and 3xLOGIC replaced the analog system with a full IP solution—four static IP cameras and two 3xLOGIC Multi-Sensor units tied into an updated Sonitrol panel and integrated with 3xLOGIC VIGIL Client and VCM. The upgrade delivered roughly tenfold better video quality, faster and more reliable alarm verification, about 10 minutes shaved from police response in real incidents, improved receptionist situational awareness, and proactive monitoring of equipment health.
