3xLOGIC and Redwire Deliver Comprehensive Video Surveillance—Empowering Tampa YMCA to Improve the Member Experience

The Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA, a long-standing nonprofit serving over 242,000 community members across 18 facilities, needed a modernized surveillance solution after receiving a donation for cameras. VP of IT Nate Valentin was tasked with evaluating vendors and designing a system that would do more than basic security—improving member experience and operational efficiency across the Association.

Working with Redwire and 3xLOGIC, the YMCA implemented a phased rollout that brought roughly 150 new 3xLOGIC cameras and centralized management under the VIGIL video management system, with fire and intrusion upgrades planned next. Installations were completed quickly during the COVID-19 shutdown, cameras now cover parking lots, pools, childcare, workout areas and courts, and a planned call center will use live feeds to boost member engagement and reduce front-desk workloads—delivering faster service and better-informed operations.
