Harborstone Credit Union, a Lakewood, WA-based credit union with 12 branches, was struggling with poor-quality video, slow investigations, and the need to better manage time synchronization across its DVRs. It chose 3VR, using the VIP P-Series, VIP Enterprise Server, and CrimeDex, to improve video search and support fraud investigations across its branch network.
3VR fully deployed the system in less than two months, giving Harborstone remote access to clearer video from more than 183 cameras and faster search across 12 locations. Investigation time for a single incident dropped from about one hour to around 10 minutes, and a $5,000 fraud case was solved within two days, helping authorities identify and arrest the suspect.
