Travelzoo, a publisher of travel, entertainment, and local deals, needed to increase revenue from airfare, hotel, and car rental paid search campaigns without hurting efficiency. 3Q Digital helped Travelzoo with a paid search alpha/beta account restructure to improve conversions and better control bidding.
3Q Digital built single-keyword ad groups from legacy search data, forced traffic to the new mappings, and implemented an Alpha/Beta/Gamma structure to capture more long-tail traffic and create cleaner keyword-to-query matching. The results were strong: flights saw a 6% year-over-year lift in SEM conversions, a 25% drop in cost per acquisition, and a 41% increase in ROAS, while hotels and rental cars nearly doubled conversions or revenue within 10 days while maintaining ROAS.
