Fronius assesses inverter behaviour with 3E to analyze energy and yield losses

Fronius, an inverter manufacturer, engaged the vendor 3E to conduct an independent technical assessment of its inverters' on-site behavior. The challenge was to verify the performance of the Fronius inverters and understand the impact of any abnormal operations on energy production.

To address this, 3E performed a site visit, analyzed measurements, and reviewed Fronius's own interpretation of the inverter data. A key part of the solution involved 3E calculating the associated energy and yield losses. This work by 3E provided an independent evaluation of the inverters' performance and quantified the impact of any operational issues.
