The customer ENGIE ELECTRABEL required an independent technical advisor to support a partial equity investment in its 43MW Wind4Flanders P5 wind portfolio. To facilitate this transaction, they selected the vendor 3E to perform a technical due diligence, aiming to identify investment risks and propose mitigations for the five developing wind farms.
3E conducted the technical due diligence, leveraging its international experience and local knowledge to ensure a quick process. Their work efficiently addressed questions from investors and advisors, enabling ENGIE ELECTRABEL to successfully close the deal, selling a 51% equity stake to asset manager Conquest. The portfolio is expected to produce 111GWh of renewable power annually, enough for approximately 32,000 homes.
