Steyr, an established agricultural tractor brand, needed a high-quality, memorable giveaway for the AGRITECHNICA trade show with a fast turnaround and tight budget. 3D Systems On Demand was engaged to produce accurate scale models that would stand out in a crowded exhibition environment.

3D Systems combined SLS 3D printing and injection molding, using Steyr’s render to create an eight-part 1:40 scale tractor assembled from printed and molded components, finished in DuraForm PA and hand-painted. The team delivered 500 hand-finished models in four weeks, meeting quality and budget targets and impressing Steyr and its customers.
