Realize Inc. Turns to ProJet SLA Systems for Precision Parts for its Clients

Realize Inc., a Noblesville, Indiana rapid-prototyping shop led by Todd Reese, needed a new SLA system to deliver ultra-high-precision, medium-sized runs for clients across consumer products, automotive, medical and other markets. Their first test— a full 15" x 15" tray of 40 highly detailed bottle toppers—highlighted the challenge: achieve fine detail and sidewall quality without long build times.

They adopted the 3D Systems ProJet SLA, which combines a larger high-resolution build area, a twin-beam laser approach (fine outline plus larger fill) and robust VisiJet SL Impact material. The result: parts that are superior right out of the machine—crisp detail and spectacular sidewalls—faster builds (the 40-piece job finished in about 16 hours), higher throughput, easier operation and broader use across the company’s mix of prototypes and functional parts.
