Proclaim Health, 3D Systems and In’Tech Industries Team up to Manufacture an Oral Health Innovation

Proclaim Health, a medical equipment manufacturer in Mountain View, set out to solve a common oral health problem: many people don’t floss effectively. To bring its patient-specific Proclaim Custom-Jet Oral Health System to life, the company partnered with 3D Systems, using its SLA printing technology, Accura ClearVue biocompatible material, and Application Innovation Group expertise to develop a product that could be customized from dental scans.

3D Systems helped Proclaim optimize the design and manufacturing approach for the complex mouthpiece, then supported scale-up through In’Tech Industries and its large-format SLA printers. The result was a production-ready, FDA-cleared consumer oral care device that began shipping in February 2024, with a clinical study showing up to 82% reduction in gum bleeding and up to 41% reduction in gum inflammation in just 30 days.
