Moules Industriels is a specialty moldmaker (about 85 employees) founded 17 years ago that focuses on rubber extrusion and molding tools for automotive sealing and related plastic applications. Facing intensified competition from European, Japanese and Asian moldmakers that offer broader turnkey services, Moules needed to stay highly responsive, shorten lead times and expand its service offerings to match offshore competitors.

To meet that challenge Moules adopted CimatronE as a single end-to-end CAD/CAM platform for quoting, design, NC programming and production, enabling seamless data flow, standardized NC templates, machine-independent viewers/posts and increasing use of lights-out machining.
