Case Study: Hybrid Technologies achieves faster same-day full-arch temporaries and four-fold productivity with 3D Systems' NextDent 5100

A 3D Systems Case Study

Preview of the Hybrid Technologies Case Study

Hybrid Technologies Grows Business with Full-Arch Palatal Jigs 3D Printed on NextDent 5100

Hybrid Technologies is a small dental laboratory in Orlando that specializes in highly esthetic multi-unit implant restorations. The owner sought a cost-effective, high‑quality in‑house solution to expand services—particularly to offer full‑arch temporaries and palatal jigs—without the high capital or recurring costs of some dental 3D printers.

The lab adopted 3D Systems’ NextDent 5100 and NextDent materials (including C&B MFH and Model 2.0) to 3D print shell temps, palatal jigs and white digital wax ups. The change cut material and milling wear costs, enabled a 30‑minute full‑arch print, produced a four‑fold productivity increase (10–12 prints/day), shortened chair time, improved same‑day dentistry and helped dentists sell more cases while boosting patient satisfaction.
