Gillette, part of the P&G family, is a global maker of grooming products including the Fusion and Fusion Power razors. Their industrial designers needed a way to rapidly define overall form, part delineation and detailed grip geometry for new handles while maintaining interoperability with downstream CAD and manufacturing systems.

They adopted Geomagic Freeform Plus virtual clay modeling from 3D Systems to ideate quickly and refine handle shapes and grip patterns. The software streamlined design exploration and handoff to CAD, helping accelerate Gillette’s product development and support the creation of advanced razor designs.
