3D Systems, a 30‑year leader in 3D printing, needed to ensure its new ProX SLS 6100 industrial printer met exacting dimensional tolerances—starting with the heavy welded steel frames supplied to its Rock Hill assembly facility. 3D Systems deployed Geomagic Control X together with Hexagon’s AICON MoveInspect XR8 and LiveInspect workflow, using CAD-driven routines, a wireless probe and dynamic referencing to measure GD&T attributes where the parts sit.
