The customer, Weiss AG, a German high-tech company specializing in 360° capturing solutions, faced the challenge of digitally preserving the North Grotto Temple, a culturally significant site threatened by deterioration and damage. Their goal was to create a highly accurate 3D record with precise color and texture details for documentation and maintenance, requiring an accuracy of ±3mm.

To address this, 3Dflow's photogrammetry software processed data captured by Weiss AG's flagship Civetta HDR panorama camera. The solution generated a detailed textured mesh of 40 million triangles, an orthophoto, and a 3D point cloud, resulting in a measurable HDR virtual reality tour. This digital record, achieved by 3Dflow, will support historians and conservation scientists in the ongoing inspection and preservation of the temple.
