McDonald’s franchise locations in Maryland needed a better way to manage security across multiple stores with aging CCTV equipment, limited bandwidth, and no remote access. 3dEYE provided a cloud-based security solution to work with the existing analog DVR setup and support motion-triggered recording and backup needs.

3dEYE connected McDonald’s legacy DVRs to 3dEYE Cloud, converting JPEG video to h.264 streams and enabling access through browsers, tablets, and mobile devices. The result was centralized multi-location management, offsite redundant storage on Amazon S3, motion alerts after hours, email notifications, and added scalability for future franchise expansion.
