Fiera Foods is an established Canadian manufacturer of baked goods with multiple production sites and over 1400 cameras. They needed a solution to simplify monitoring across their locations, provide reliable streaming video, and integrate with their existing camera base for analytics and fast search capabilities. The vendor, 3dEYE, provided a hybrid/cloud solution to address this challenge.

The 3dEYE solution was a turn-key hybridized system incorporating local DVR and cloud storage, which provided universal remote access to cameras and an extra level of storage redundancy. The implementation gave Fiera Foods management real-time alerts, video analytic events, and sensor alarms delivered via an HTML5 Web UI and push/SMS notifications. The scalable system allowed for future expansion without the need for expensive proprietary software.
