Macy’s, a century-old national department store, partnered with 3D Cloud beginning in 2017 to tackle a core e-commerce challenge: customers couldn’t confidently visualize furniture online, driving returns and lost sales. Macy’s needed scalable ways to show size, fit and style across a large catalog and channels, from web to in-person appointments.

Using 3D Cloud’s suite—WebAR, 3D Room Planners, and the patented Design from Photo—Macy’s created omnichannel, hybrid shopping experiences that let customers virtually place and try furniture.
