Kathimerini Gets Ready for Remote Work with 3CX

Kathimerini, a Greek daily newspaper, needed to replace an outdated proprietary PBX that couldn’t support the demands of remote work during Covid-19. The company was looking for a flexible, scalable communication system that could maintain existing features like call queues and a digital receptionist without disrupting daily operations.

With help from 3CX Gold Partner Digimark S.A., Kathimerini implemented the 3CX phone system, including 3CX PRO 96SC, webclient, and mobile/desktop apps. The rollout was completed without downtime while the old PBX was still running, and staff required little training thanks to the system’s ease of use. As a result, Kathimerini improved remote working, reduced missed calls, cut infrastructure costs by eliminating old cabling, and strengthened customer service and efficiency.
