3CX Gets High Grades at Jacksboro Independent School District

Jacksboro ISD, a public school district in Texas, needed to replace its aging Cisco phone system while preserving E-rate funding and reducing high communications and maintenance costs. The district worked with 3CX Partner Austen Consultants to find a more affordable Hosted PBX solution using 3CX.

3CX implemented a hosted PBX that repurposed the district’s existing Cisco phones and added a few new Yealink phones, with SIP trunks and management handled through the 3CX Partner portal. As a result, 3CX reduced Jacksboro ISD’s monthly phone bill by 60%, cut DIDs from 200 to 35, simplified administration, eliminated costly maintenance, and helped the district retain E-rate compliance and funding.
