Tyson Foods faced the challenge of managing standard and actual costing across its fresh and further processing operations, along with detailed variance analysis, complex meat valuation, packaging management, and scenario analysis. To address this, Tyson worked with 3C Software using ImpactECS to support its “Manage by Variance” team and improve costing and profitability visibility.

3C Software implemented ImpactECS to deliver plant-, department-, and line-level costing, blended finished-product costs, detailed variance analysis, and integration with SAP and production systems. The solution also helped Tyson model commodity and raw material changes, overhead shifts, and other scenarios, expanding its costing and profitability process across operations.
