Social Media Company - Customer Case Study

365 Data Centers partnered with a leading social media company (SMC) that serves more than one billion monthly active users and generates massive photo and video upload traffic. SMC needed 100% uptime, reliable power and cooling, strict security and data privacy, lower operating costs, and colocation close to its offices — and faced the specific challenge of extending its content delivery and backbone POPs to edge locations in tier‑2 U.S. cities to reduce latency and serve users more efficiently.

365 Data Centers delivered multi‑site colocation in St. Louis, Tampa and Nashville, met stringent security requirements (including full‑height cages), and executed SMC’s MSA/SOW terms. In Nashville 365 built three diverse fiber entrances to enable the customer’s preferred carrier, allowing SMC to rapidly deploy edge caches and backbone capacity in tier‑2 markets — improving performance, lowering latency and costs, and enabling fast scale‑out.
