365 Data Centers Keeps an International Financial Planning Company Online

Money Concepts is a wealth management and financial planning firm with more than 700 planning centers worldwide that required secure, resilient IT to protect sensitive client data and keep services like its website and email online—especially given annual hurricane risk at its Southeast Florida headquarters. The IT team determined critical systems needed to be hosted off-site to maintain operations through unplanned events and severe weather.

Starting in 2011 Money Concepts colocated a portion of its infrastructure at 365 Data Centers’ Boca Raton facility, splitting workloads between on-site systems and the data center and adding automated failover and 24/7 technical monitoring. When an on-site server-room HVAC failure drove temperatures dangerously high, the colocated systems and failover processes kept services running. Since then Money Concepts has expanded its use of 365’s offerings (including a private cloud trial) and now relies on the provider’s secure, compliant infrastructure and personalized support to sustain growth and business continuity.
