DirectMailers, a direct marketing company founded in 1989, needed a faster, more reliable way to process and match millions of customer records each day. Its manual workflow for downloading, matching, correcting, and reimporting data took about 4 hours daily, was error-prone, and could not scale as the business expanded into integrated digital and direct marketing.
360Science solved the problem by implementing mSQL in Microsoft SQL Server and later mHUB for in-memory data matching, enhancement, and verification. With 360Science’s mHUB, DirectMailers cut processing time from 4 hours to about 6 minutes, achieved a 98% reduction in processing time and a 40X speed increase, and gained more accurate data for better cross-channel campaign analysis and new product capabilities.
