MAIF, a French mutual insurance company, launched a company-wide digital transformation in late 2015 to improve responsiveness, refocus decisions on the customer journey, and align employees around common objectives. The challenge was to create a roadmap and a sustainable digital training framework to upskill 8,500 employees—including the Group’s top 20 stakeholders—by consolidating and launching comprehensive programs in a “Digital Academy” format while preserving personalized communication with trainers.
MAIF implemented a learning platform/Digital Academy with 50 trainers and project managers collaborating on content creation, enabling efficient delivery and tailored trainer interactions. The initiative produced 15 complete training programs (each with 75+ courses), reached all 8,500 employees with a 90% participation rate, and achieved an average of 2 hours of training per active user per month, establishing a durable digital training framework.
