Cegid, a major provider of business management software with 3,000 employees and €480M turnover in 2019, faced a scaling challenge as its in-person Cegid Learning academy could not keep up with rapid client growth. Attempts to move to a conventional LMS failed because it reduced critical client interaction and was too slow to produce timely content for frequent product and regulatory updates.

To solve this, Cegid’s Digital & Collective team deployed 360Learning and a Collaborative Learning playbook, combining client forums, social interactions, intuitive co-authoring and real-time analytics. The approach enabled clients and experts to interact, sped up course creation (≈1,000 courses by a 5-author team in <18 months), cut support effort, and trained 100,000 clients with a team of 10—achieving 90% client satisfaction and meeting the training unit’s 2019 revenue target with plans to scale further.
