Princeton in Asia (PiA) is a century-old nonprofit that places fellows and interns across 22 countries and supports a global alumni network. When alumni said their top priority was staying connected through local events, PiA faced the challenge of creating meaningful, scalable engagement with limited staff resources.

PiA partnered with 360Alumni and launched a community platform—using geo-mapping, searchable directories, group pages, in‑platform messaging, email integration and event management—to create nine self-managed chapters and numerous affinity groups. Chapter leaders now run local outreach and events with minimal staff support, enabling 85+ events (including 49 hosted dinners) worldwide and delivering sustained alumni engagement while freeing staff to focus on broader programming.
