They partnered with vendor 360 Energy to address challenges like identifying redundant energy loads and securing employee buy-in across multiple departments.

360 Energy implemented its Sustainable Energy Plan Training and Energy Coach Program, which provided the tools and framework for cross-departmental collaboration and real-time monitoring. This initiative led to a reduction of 500 kW in weekend energy loads and the shutdown of 83 redundant items, slashing the plant's baseload to 20% of its operating level. The project generated over $400,000 in annual savings, plus an additional $37,000 from optimized procurement, allowing ArcelorMittal to fund further energy-efficient upgrades.
