Bayer, a multinational pharmaceutical company, faced the challenge of upskilling its leaders for a hybrid work environment without resorting to mandatory, long-form training that its employees had no appetite for. To capture attention against numerous competing priorities, the company partnered with vendor Third Factor and e-learning provider SweetRush to create an innovative solution.
Third Factor, in partnership with SweetRush, developed the "Rise & Thrive" microlearning program. The solution featured bold branding, provocative content, and custom TED-style videos from Third Factor's CEO. The bite-sized learning experiences, which could be completed in two minutes or less, resulted in approximately 50% of US leaders voluntarily participating. Of those, 94% would recommend the program, and measurable improvements showed a 30% increase in leadership confidence metrics. The program also won four Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Learning Awards.
