Consumer Packaged Goods - Customer Case Study

Consumer Packaged Goods, a global beverage company with hundreds of workloads in AWS, needed a scalable way to enforce consistent configurations across many separate environments while maintaining governance and compliance. The company also had to deal with overlapping AWS accounts, no dedicated IP space for each workload, and the need to retrofit existing systems without breaking them.

2nd Watch implemented Configuration Management as a Service, powered by Puppet, and managed all of the company’s AWS workloads. The project was completed in 2.5 months and included an automated certificate signing process and a full AWS architecture built around services such as Route 53, ELB, EC2, Lambda, IAM, VPC, and CloudFormation, helping reduce operational support overhead and improve the company’s ability to scale while keeping control and governance.
