The customer, Schindler Elevators, faced the challenge of installing a proven and reliable emergency communication system for 29 elevators in the Varso Tower, the European Union's tallest building. Their requirements for the system included modularity, cost-effectiveness, and integrated fire-fighter intervention capabilities. Vendor 2N addressed this challenge with its 2N Lift8 central unit and IP Vario intercoms.
The solution implemented by 2N was a comprehensive, modular lift communication system. 2N installed its 2N Lift8 central unit for emergency communications and 83 IP intercoms to upgrade access control. This system allows for conference calls between all units for easier maintenance and provides a dedicated communication unit for fire-fighter interventions. The result is a highly reliable and advanced emergency system for the prestigious building.
