Workshare, a SaaS provider of secure enterprise file sharing and collaboration tools, needed to improve its B2B online sales by optimizing the shopping-cart experience used for purchases, trials and renewals across global markets. The challenge was to increase checkout conversions and revenue while keeping the process simple for business buyers, with the end-to-end commerce managed on the Avangate platform.

Avangate, with agency partner Somebody Digital, ran sequential A/B tests: a contemporary one-column checkout design (breadcrumbs, focused billing/payment layout and payment-method sidebar) produced a 36% lift in conversions, and a follow‑up test that removed unnecessary form fields and surfaced only popular payment methods drove an additional 12% improvement. Combined results delivered an estimated 10% revenue uplift and a 17x project ROI, and Avangate’s Conversion Optimization Service was extended to continue iterative gains.
