Software AG Getting Smart about Marketing in Partnership with Avangate & Marketo

Software AG broadened its portfolio with ARIS Cloud, a SaaS Business Process Analysis product, and ran digital campaigns to drive free-trial signups. Their challenge was that trial registrations were manually exported from the Avangate commerce platform to the CRM, were not present in Marketo, and required a first-time API integration (with additional rules to prevent duplicate leads and ensure required CRM fields) to get real-time visibility into campaign performance.

Avangate’s Digital Commerce Enterprise Edition and Professional Services worked with Software AG to integrate Avangate, Marketo and the CRM via API. The integration now syncs trial registrations in real time, enabling instant campaign tracking, automated nurturing and retargeting, faster conversion from trial to paid, and a scalable, more efficient marketing process.
