Nero, a global multimedia software company, wanted to improve customer experience, retention and operational efficiency while expanding both perpetual-license and subscription sales across online, in‑app and other channels. The challenge was to increase conversions and customer lifetime value by reducing churn and streamlining purchase and renewal flows.
By adopting 2Checkout’s Avangate Monetization Platform, Nero optimized order and payment processing and used advanced ecommerce and merchandising tools, including follow‑ups on abandoned carts. The results included a revenue uplift of more than 6% from cart recovery and over 10% higher conversion rates on new acquisitions in several key markets such as the USA and Germany.
