Mobile App Testing Platform pCloudy Improves Customer Experience with 2Checkout

pCloudy is a California-based, cloud-native mobile app testing platform used worldwide that helps developers, QA and DevOps teams test across thousands of device-browser combinations. As its traffic and brand awareness grew, pCloudy struggled with fragmented payments and billing vendors, facing poor localization (limited currencies and local payment methods), compliance gaps (no 3D Secure), inflexible subscription upgrades and proration, disparate reporting that required manual reconciliation, and high customer churn.

pCloudy moved to 2Checkout’s Avangate Monetization Platform to consolidate eCommerce, subscription management, global payments, tax and fraud/compliance and reporting. The switch delivered multi-currency support and 45+ payment methods, centralized sales tax and reporting, seamless in-app upgrades that cut churn, improved security (fraud fell from about 3–4% to under 0.6% in six months), and stronger internal efficiencies—resulting in a better customer experience and improved bottom line.
