Incomedia Increases Revenue at a Global Level by 7% Following CRO Project with 2Checkout

Incomedia, the maker of WebSite X5, partnered with 2Checkout to lift checkout performance for its SMB web‑building business. The goal was to increase conversion on the main checkout page—particularly in markets with heavy PayPal usage—by testing PayPal InContext and changes to the review/confirmation step across multiple countries.

2Checkout ran A/B tests comparing the control flow with two variations (PayPal + optimized review and PayPal + no review). While both variations matched the control at a global level, country‑level winners differed: Germany (+15.8%) and Italy (+17.1%) strongly favored the optimized review flow, the U.S. saw a smaller gain (+3%), and other markets preferred the no‑review flow. The project delivered a 15% lift in conversions in key markets and a 7% increase in global revenue, leading to a recommendation to deploy the new template globally and localize the cart flow by country.
