Hewlett Packard Enterprise Software set out to build a new brand and ecommerce channel (saas.hpe.com) to differentiate its software business, reach a new audience of mid-level practitioners who buy online, and improve sales and operations by making transactions faster and simpler. Achieving this required shifts in people, processes and technology and the ability to go to market quickly with flexible external partners.
HP partnered with Avangate (2Checkout) to deliver a seamless end-to-end customer experience: multi-currency payments (18 currencies), PO and invoicing support, order and account management, and one-click upgrades from trial to purchase through integrated workflows. The result was faster, easier online transactions, more efficient sales operations, better customer onboarding, and the agility to launch and support the new software brand.
