Giant Matrix, a developer of system-utility and security software for home and corporate users, wanted to expand beyond its direct online sales channel by using affiliate marketing and fresh promotional tactics to increase product exposure and revenue. After joining the Avangate Affiliate Network in January 2010, the company tasked Avangate with helping to grow online sales and efficiently manage the new channel.

Avangate provided eCommerce tools, affiliate-network consultancy and targeted marketing ideas—most notably a Giveaway of the Day promotion. The campaign delivered more than 18,000 successful installations in one day, 2,500+ new newsletter sign-ups, and drove Memory Washer sales up about 250% the week after the giveaway; follow-up campaigns produced similarly strong results.
