Devart Improves Conversion Rate and Customer Experience Through CRO Project

Devart, a global provider of database management software and development tools, partnered with Verifone’s CRO Team to lift checkout conversion rates and improve the customer experience. The challenge was to optimize a 1‑column cart template used across Devart’s B2B site by testing a new 3‑column design and subsequent refinements.

Verifone ran two global A/B tests comparing the original 1‑column cart to a new 3‑column template and then a modified 3‑column variation. The initial 3‑column design increased conversion by 2.8% and RPV by 2.6% (Test 1) and — across both tests — delivered up to a 7% improvement in conversion versus the original, while boosting revenue-per-visitor in key markets; Verifone recommends rolling out the 3‑column template globally to maximize conversions and enhance customer experience.
