123FormBuilder, a leading SMB web-form builder, partnered with Verifone (formerly 2Checkout) after Verifone’s CRO team identified conversion and checkout usability issues during a CRO audit. The primary challenge was to improve the checkout experience and lift conversion rate and revenue per visitor by testing a new layout and checkout flow.

Verifone redesigned the checkout from a 1‑column to an optimized 3‑column template, relocated the 30‑day money‑back badge, changed the CTA to “Place order,” added security logos and social proof, and then introduced an Express Checkout option. The global A/B test of the 3‑column design raised conversion rate by 24.67% and revenue per visitor by 55.93%; a follow‑up Express Checkout test added a further 10.65% CR lift and 4.75% RPV growth.
