ManyCam ULC, a B2C provider of virtual camera and live‑streaming software, wanted to increase checkout conversions on its site. Using a one‑column checkout without a review page, they partnered with the Verifone (2Checkout) CRO team to test alternative layouts and improve the purchase flow globally.
The team tested the control against two 3‑column variations and found the winning Variation 2 — a 3‑column layout with the order summary on the right — delivered the best results: a 19.51% lift in conversion rate for the variation (about a 20% overall increase), a 9.53% rise in revenue per visitor (9.5% RPV), a 33% higher conversion versus the left‑side summary, and a 33x return on investment for the CRO services.
