Melbourne & Olympic Parks Gains Greater Visibility Across Their Operations Using 24/7 Software

Melbourne & Olympic Parks (M&OP) operates four major venues that host around 600 events and more than 2.6 million visitors a year, including the Australian Open. As the precinct grew and underwent a major redevelopment, M&OP outgrew its legacy incident and job-management tools, which were labor‑intensive, lacked usability and mobile functionality, and failed to capture timely, centralized event and incident data.

M&OP implemented 24/7 Software’s Incident Management System, Lost & Found and Task Manager to automate job allocation, improve real‑time oversight and centralize reporting. Deployment was rapid and widely adopted—users grew from 50 to about 400—resulting in over 9,000 jobs and incidents logged in month one, a 37% increase in records captured, a 68% rise in hazard reporting, and 400+ Event Summary Reports, enabling more proactive, safer operations.
