Tampa International Airport launches Sky Reserve with 22 Miles for 280 meeting rooms and desks
Tampa International Airport, through its Hillsborough County Aviation Authority, faced the challenge of managing its new SkyCenter One headquarters for its own hybrid workforce and other building tenants. They needed a sustainable solution for workspace booking, wayfinding, and tenant onboarding. The airport partnered with vendor 22Miles to develop a customized enterprise mobile app to meet these needs.
The solution implemented by 22Miles was the Sky Reserve mobile app, which provided interactive 3D wayfinding, real-time space booking integrated with Microsoft Office 365, and desk booking via smart sensors. The app won the 2023 SCN Installation Product Award for Most Innovative App. Results included streamlined workspace reservations, data-driven insights for management, enhanced safety protocols, and an adaptable system for easy onboarding of new tenants.
