Phoenix Sky Harbor International Uses 22Miles as Part of Their T3 & T4 Award Winning 2017 Airport Renovation Project

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Arizona’s largest economic engine serving over 120,000 daily passengers across 3,200 acres, needed a modern wayfinding and information system as part of a major T3/T4 renovation. Terminal 3, originally built in 1979, was outdated, and PHX sought a next‑generation solution to improve traveler experience and help passengers efficiently locate terminals, gates, stores, restrooms and other amenities.

PHX installed seventeen 46" bolted interactive wayfinding kiosks from Forge Media Designs powered by 22Miles Publisher Pro 5.0, delivering point‑to‑point maps, real‑time flight information and a QR boarding‑pass scanner for turn‑by‑turn directions. The system includes searchable store/restaurant listings, ADA features (adjustable display, magnifier, wheelchair routing) and a live FIDS integration that auto‑updates gate changes—dramatically improving passenger navigation, operational efficiency and staff time savings.
