SJL Design Ltd, led by designer Donna Alexander, grew from a lifelong passion for interior design into an award-winning kitchen and interior design business. Donna faced the challenge of breaking into a competitive industry and proving herself, especially as she searched for her niche and developed the skills needed to stand out. During her early career at The Home Depot, she first learned to use 2020 Design from 2020 Spaces.
With 2020 Spaces’ 2020 Design software, Donna was able to build her kitchen design expertise and support SJL Design Ltd’s growth in the field. The result was strong recognition for the company, including Platinum-level Reader’s Choice Awards from The Hamilton Spectator in both the kitchen and interior design categories in 2017, plus nominations for two Business Excellence Awards. 2020 Spaces helped power a design workflow that contributed to measurable industry recognition and credibility.
