1Spatial worked with the Australian State Government Department to improve public access to spatial data while strengthening data protection, efficiency, and service reliability. The department needed to move beyond manual, maintenance-heavy processes and limited file formats so it could deliver more raster, point cloud, and vector data to the public more quickly.

1Spatial implemented a cloud-based spatial data delivery platform using FME Server, FME Desktop, and PostGIS. The solution replaced custom code with configurable workbenches, automated data ingestion and quality assurance, and enabled custodians to load, secure, and publish data through a browser interface and APIs. The result was faster release of new spatial data, broader format support, better transparency and self-service, and improved scalability, business continuity, and reliability of service.
