How Dovetail uses 1Password to save time and reduce IT support

Dovetail, a customer-insights platform with offices in Sydney and San Francisco, needed a way to keep customer data private and their security culture intact as the company scaled. With SOC 2 and GDPR requirements and an IT manager handling onboarding, offboarding and frequent password-related support tickets, Dovetail sought a password solution that would be secure but simple enough for everyone to adopt.

Dovetail deployed 1Password Business, rolled it into onboarding and security training, and used shared vaults plus free Families accounts to reinforce good habits. The human-centered design drove 95% employee adoption, cut password-related support tickets roughly in half (eliminating most reset requests), freed IT time for other priorities, and helped Dovetail maintain compliance as they grow.
