Case Study: Large US Environmental Firm achieves streamlined, automated PC delivery and cost savings with 1E Shopping and SCCM

A 1E Case Study

Preview of the Large US Environmental Firm Case Study

Streamlining computer delivery processes using 1E Shopping and SCCM

1E worked with a large U.S. environmental firm that was struggling with a costly, labor‑intensive imaging depot model for delivering fully configured desktops and laptops. The process required manual SCCM imaging, supervisor and finance approvals, WAN data migrations, and follow‑up, creating delays, approval bottlenecks and high operational overhead.

By combining 1E Shopping with automated SCCM task sequences, dynamic patch and driver injection, and scripted join/automation steps, the firm moved imaging to the factory and automated approvals, backup/restore (USMT + Nomad/PC Exec) and secure wipe workflows. The result: imaging depots were retired, approval times dropped from days or weeks to hours, users receive ready‑to‑use machines on delivery, and the company significantly reduced cost and manual effort while maintaining service quality.
